Are you moving to a new home? Moving is a tough project, and one of the last urgent tasks is the final cleaning of your old home.
The amount of work involved in moving is always surprising, and there is often no time or motivation to properly clean the old apartment because your thoughts are already on the new home.
Many people also want experienced professionals to thoroughly and hygienically clean their next home before moving in.
Leave your moving-out cleaning to us and you'll feel a lot less stressed. We'll do the final cleaning of your old home or make your new home cozy and clean – or both. Our professional cleaners will clean your premises properly, and you won't have to worry about checking the cleanliness of your rental apartment, for example.
After renovation or completion, apartments often have a lot of construction dust, which should be carefully cleaned before moving in. Sometimes these cleanings are called allergy cleanings. If necessary, we carry out careful move-in cleanings, in which, if separately agreed, dust from walls, ceilings and other surfaces is also carefully removed. Allergy cleaning should be mentioned when ordering, so that we can prepare and estimate the working time as accurately as possible.

Window cleaning is often quick and convenient to do during move-out cleaning, if it is agreed upon separately.
Sometimes, over time, your home has become too cluttered and you need to clear out some space. We will recycle the excess items if agreed.

For most people, the most effective routine after moving is a home cleaning every other week. The home will remain clean and the cleaning will not pile up. Regular home cleaning is not binding – you can stop the service at any time.
Frequently asked questions about moving cleaning
How much does move-out cleaning cost?
Isojoo move-out cleaning costs €53.80 per person-hour, including 25.5% VAT. A service fee of €12.80 is charged per visit, and cleaning equipment and products are included. After the Finnish household tax credit, the eligible labour price starts at €34.97 per person-hour when the eligibility conditions are met.
How long does move-out cleaning take?
The estimate is stated in person-hours: a studio apartment usually requires 5.5–6 hours, a two-room apartment 6–6.5 hours, a three-room apartment 7.5–8 hours and a four-room apartment 9–10 hours. A detached house of 120 m² or more usually requires at least 13 person-hours. With a two-cleaner team, the time spent in the home is normally about half the number of person-hours, and the actual duration depends on the property's condition and the agreed scope.
What does move-out cleaning include?
Move-out cleaning includes thorough end-of-tenancy cleaning within the agreed working time. We clean areas such as kitchen cupboards and appliances as agreed, the bathroom and toilet, floors, skirting boards, doors, frequently touched surfaces and empty storage spaces. The exact scope is adapted to the property's condition and your wishes.
Can I book cleaning for my old home or my new home?
Yes. We can clean your old home after moving out, your new home before moving in, or both if needed. We schedule the work around your move and key handover.
Is window cleaning included in move-out cleaning?
Window cleaning is not automatically included in move-out cleaning and must be booked separately. When it is agreed in advance, we reserve enough time and bring the required equipment.
Can I continue as a customer after move-out cleaning?
Yes. After move-out cleaning, you can book one-time or regular home cleaning for your new home. Regular home cleaning does not require a fixed-term contract.
Can I claim the Finnish household tax credit for move-out cleaning in 2026?
Yes. In 2026, the Finnish household tax credit is 35% of the eligible labour cost, up to €1,600 per person per year, with an annual deductible of €150. The Finnish Tax Administration's eligibility conditions must be met.
Are cleaning equipment and products included in the price?
Yes. We bring the cleaning equipment and products required for move-out cleaning, and they are included in the price. Any special equipment or unusual cleaning products are agreed in advance.
